Any fitness challenge can be a daunting task, here are 10 tips to keep you on track to completing a successful challenge!

  1. Get the proper nutrition - diet is 80% of the battle
  2. Set a goal - what do you want to achieve during this challenge? Write it down
  3. The scale is NOT an enemy - use it as a way to track your progress
  4. Put in the time - your goals aren't going to achieve themselves, you are
  5. Have a cheat day if you need it - take a moment for yourself, indulge a little, BUT NOT TOO MUCH
  6. Have active recovery days - this means you don't do intense workouts, add a yoga class in or go for a walk
  7. Calendar your workouts - hold yourself accountable to them each day / week
  8. Listen to your body - if you have a day that you body tells you it hurts and needs a break, TAKE IT
  9. Stretch and drink plenty of water after every workout
  10. NEVER say never - all positive thoughts all day long, even in the middle of the hardest workouts or those dreaded Monday mornings
